Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the AimRank platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

AimRank is a universal ranking platform that uses binary comparisons (A vs B) and statistical algorithms to produce accurate rankings. Features include public and private rankings, competitions, analytics, AI-powered recommendations, and API access.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and API keys
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One person may not maintain more than one account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit fraudulent or manipulated votes
  • Create rankings containing illegal, hateful, or harassing content
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Use bots or automated tools to manipulate rankings without authorization
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service beyond what the API allows
  • Impersonate other users or entities

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of rankings and content you create
  • By making a ranking public, you grant other users permission to view and vote on it
  • We do not claim ownership of your data
  • You can export or delete your data at any time (see our Privacy Policy)

6. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits. Excessive or abusive API usage may result in temporary or permanent API key revocation. We may adjust rate limits at any time.

7. Availability & Changes

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AimRank is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.
